Shopping for a horn or accessories? Please go to our
home page to find what you need.
This page will hang around for a while before we take it down, but really,
let's be honest about it, it's obsolete and it's time has come.
Thanks for shopping!
Horns are a specialty at Brass Arts Unlimited. We take
pride in the quality of instruments, accessories, and repairs that we offer.
Many of our customers are top professional musicians who expect the very best.
That same level of service and quality are available to all our customers.
Looking for a great online horn-related experience?
Look no further! Here are three of the best online resources, combined
with a social media experience:
www.hornmatters.com is a terrific resource. It's a
horn-related e-zine that combines a wide range of articles on every topic of
horn playing and listening with the interactive experience of a blog.
Brought to you by John Ericson, horn professor at Arizona State University,
and Bruce Hembd, hornmatters.com is humorous, scholarly, educational, and
informative. Look for Dave Weiner's articles on horn maintenance and
repair.
Horn People, a horn-related group on
Facebook, has over
2,000 horn members
worldwide. Just search for "Horn people" in the Facebook search bar,
and you are there! It's a closed group, so if you don't have a
Facebook friend who can add you, just request to be added to the group.
Any horn-related topic is acceptable - you can even offer items for sale -
but a one post per topic rule is enforced. News of any kind related to
the horn, horn playing, or horn people, is welcome. Discussions are
polite, and lightly monitored.
We encourage all horn players, no matter your age
or what type of playing you do, to
join
the International Horn Society. This organization is run by
dedicated hornists for the benefit of all players. Benefits include
regional workshops, an annual international symposium, reviews of recordings and
performances, composition contests and commissions, scholarly publications, and
The Horn Call, published three times per annum. The International Horn
Society is your gateway to meeting other players, expanding your knowledge and
understanding of the horn, and news about performances, people, and products.
